KA-BAR Short Knife

This 9.25" overall fixed blade is practically sized for daily carry and duty use. The 5.25" blade has either a straight or a partially serrated edge that cuts through looped and synthetic materials with ease. The non-slip handle keeps a secure grip under stress. A sheath is included.

This fixed blade has a 5.25" clip point blade made from 1095 Cro-Van steel. The blade is 0.165" thick and 0.906" wide, with a flat grind and a 20-degree edge angle. It is hardened to 56-58 on the Rockwell scale and includes a blade guard made of 12GA commercial grade carbon steel. The black handle is made of Kraton G® and the tang is stamped KA-BAR. The knife weighs 0.4 lb. The knife is manufactured in the United States and includes a sheath.
