KA-BAR Short Tanto Knife

A compact, stout tanto blade built for hard use and made to pierce the toughest materials. This knife features a thick, reinforced point built for strength and effectiveness. Paired with a durable glass-filled nylon sheath, it’s designed to handle demanding tasks with confidence.

This fixed blade has a 5.25" tanto blade made from 1095 Cro-Van steel, with an overall length of 9.375". The blade is 0.165" thick and 0.94" wide, with a flat grind and a 20-degree edge angle. It is hardened to 56-58 on the Rockwell scale and includes a blade guard made of 12GA commercial grade carbon steel. The black Kraton G® handle is tang stamped KA-BAR, and the knife weighs 0.35 lb. The knife is manufactured in the United States, and includes a sheath.
