KA-BAR D2 Extreme Knife

D2 steel is known for its impressive toughness and edge retention, and cutting tests demonstrate its ability to stand up to demanding use. This knife features the classic clip-point blade shape that helped make KA-BAR famous, along with a partially serrated edge that easily handles rope, webbing, and other synthetic materials.

The tang is stamped “USA,” and a MOLLE-compatible nylon/Cordura® sheath is included for secure, versatile carry.

This fixed blade has a 7.0" clip point blade made from D2 steel, with an overall length of 12.0". The blade is 0.175" thick and 1.188" wide, with a flat grind and a 20 degree edge angle. It is hardened to 59-60 on the Rockwell scale and includes a powdered metal blade guard. The handle is black Kraton G, and the knife weighs 0.75 lb. Manufactured in the United States.
