KA-BAR Modified Tanto Knife

The KA-BAR 1266 Modified Tanto is built for duty. Its 1095 Cro-Van steel blade holds an edge and performs under hard use. The rugged handle gives a secure grip in wet, cold, or high-stress conditions. The glass-filled nylon sheath provides dependable retention and protection on the belt or gear.

This fixed blade has an 8.0" modified tanto blade made from 1095 Cro-Van steel, with an overall length of 12.75". The blade is 0.165" thick with a flat grind and a 20 degree edge angle. It is hardened to 56-58 on the Rockwell scale. The handle is black Kraton G, the tang is stamped 1266, and the knife weighs 0.75 lb. Manufactured in the United States.
